Il 23 gennaio 2024 il Parlamento Europeo e il Consiglio hanno raggiunto un accordo politico provvisorio sulla proposta della Commissione per la revisione della Direttiva UE anti-tratta. Il presente contributo esamina l’evoluzione del testo legislativo fino ad oggi, evidenziando luci e ombre, soprattutto con riguardo alle nuove disposizioni volte a tutelare le vittime di tratta. 

On 23 January 2024, the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union reached a provisional political agreement on the European Commission’s proposal for the revision of the Anti-Trafficking Directive. The present paper examines the evolution of the legislative text to date, analyzing lights and shadows, especially with regard to the new provisions for the protection of victims of trafficking.
